Meet Willa - The Comeback Queen
When Willa walked through our doors, we knew she was special. It was clear she needed more than a fresh start. She was underweight, fragile, and facing a road we couldn't fully see yet.
So we did what we always do. We made a plan, adjusted meals, consulted veterinarians, monitored carefully, and gave it time.
But nothing changed.
Through it all, Willa remained... Willa. Bright-eyed. Devoted to her caregivers. Willing to perform absolutely any trick if a treat was involved. Sit? Of course. Spin? Happily. Solve complex life mysteries? Working on it.
Then one day, her appetite dropped. Vomiting followed, and she was rushed to emergency care. X-rays finally revealed the mystery: a large piece of a soft toy lodged deep in her intestine, likely there for quite some time, quietly preventing her from thriving.
Surgery removed the blockage, and Willa is bouncing back. She'd prefer to be the only pet in the household - and honestly, with this much personality, that feels fair.
