Noodles knows her name.
You can call to her while she's fully asleep, mid-nap, and suddenly, there's a tiny face peeking up followed by the loudest meow she can possibly muster. Then another. Then twelve more. She has thoughts, and she intends to share them.
She melts into your arms like putty, weighs just over five pounds, and despite every effort to bulk her up, continues to exist as mostly feelings and spaghetti noodles. Hence the name.
To be honest, we aren't quite sure what's going on with Noodles, or why she can't seem to gain weight. She's been to the vet multiple times, her bloodwork comes back a little wonky each time, but there's never been a clear explanation. She didn't come from the best situation either; she was part of a group of 18 cats we took in.
We really think spending time in a home, being loved and adored, would do her some good. And if adopting isn't possible right now, but her story touched your heart, Noodles would absolutely love to spend a few weeks in foster and finally feel what it means to belong.
She is an 11-month-old, spayed female cat.
