Meet Rooster, an energetic and loving dog in search of a home where he can receive the companionship and care he needs. Rooster has a lot of energy and loves to run and play, making him an ideal companion for an active family. He's great with other dogs and enjoys long walks, though he's a strong puller on the leash.

He's housebroken and knows basic commands like "sit," but he requires a home where someone can be with him most of the time. Rooster is also heartworm positive, but his treatment will continue with us to ensure he gets the care he needs.

Rooster is good with children, though he can be protective of his toys and doesn't always realize his size. While he hasn't been tested with cats, his high prey drive suggests caution.
