WHS Club at App State

Whether it’s a dog walking destress before an exam or chillaxing in our cat rooms for purr- therapy, the Watauga Humane Society could be just the break you need from your studies. We have nearly a mile of trails on our Adoption Center campus if you’d like to walk dogs on afternoons or just relax in a cateria with some feline friends. Need a cheap date idea? Walk a dog! Chaperone service included.

The Watauga Humane Society offers ongoing volunteer opportunities, pet fostering, and one- time opportunities for club service projects and fundraising. We would love to be the non-profit beneficiary for your fundraising events which benefit all the dogs, cats, and critters we serve! Want to be more involved? Join WHSC (Watauga Humane Society Club). To find out more about the WHSC and join their club, please visit their website by clicking here. If you are interested in having an adoptable dog ambassador at your campus event, contact WHSC (Watauga Humane Society Club) and they can help coordinate it.

To busy to visit and still wanna help?
Send us some love! For less than a latte, you could provide several meals for our furry friends.
