Dasher Update: Still Dashing, Just on a Slower Speed
Dasher came to us wandering solo-no tags, no collar, no one looking for him. But the second he buried his head into our arms, we knew this 9-year-old heart-melter was someone special.
He also came with a not-so-little surprise: a plum-sized lump near his tail that needed surgical eviction, ASAP. Surgery's done (go, team!), and while Dasher's officially lump-free, he's currently more "dozing on meds" than "dashing through the snow." Think slow blinks, soft snores, and a vibe somewhere between zen monk and sleepy potato.
And yes-he's got alopecia too. Itchy, patchy, but totally treatable. What's underneath is a gentle, affectionate soul who's just waiting for his next chapter to begin.
He's not ready for adoption quite yet, but donations help cover his care as he heals-every little bit gets him closer to belly rubs and home-cooked meals.
