Early after arriving in our care, Nick was diagnosed with Manx syndrome, or sacrocaudal dysgenesis. Manx syndrome is congenital, and is not specific to Manx breed cats, despite the name. The most profound symptom of Manx syndrome is fecal incontinence- Nick will likely never have full control over his bowel movements, and is best suited for an outdoor or indoor/outdoor lifestyle!
