Meet Lucy Dacus!
This gentle soul came to us in a similar fashion to most shelter cats. The kindness of a human had kept her fed and cared for outside of a local business, building a relationship of trust that kept Lucy returning each day. When the time came for her person to switch jobs, they worried what might become of Lucy. She was a community cat that would be losing her community of one. Fast forward to today, Lucy is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet her new person! She continues to become more and more comfortable with people every day. She enjoys vocalizing with her sweet meows and tiny trills, and builds up a rumbling purr once she is most relaxed.
