Vinnie: Quiet Dogs, Loud Needs
Vinnie is the kind of dog who never demands anything. Sweet, soft-eyed, and painfully quiet, he spent most of his life outdoors; existing rather than living. A soft bed wasn’t something he expected. Warm hands, full body hugs, a home just for him… those felt like wishes meant for other dogs.
During his intake exam, we discovered something he had carried silently for far too long: testicular cancer. At nearly 7 years old, Vinnie had never been neutered, and a simple surgery earlier in life could have spared him years of discomfort.
