Judy Clarke Retires

Our friend Judy Clarke has been involved with the Watauga Humane Society for over 20 years. Judy became involved with WHS long before we had a beautiful building and land. She was part of the group that moved us out of very humble surroundings to a state of the art animal care facility.

With the purchase of the land on Don Hayes Road was a sweet little house that faces Old Highway 421 which would become Bare Bones Boutique, a thrift shop that serves the WHS. Judy has stayed part of the Bare Bones Boutique since it’s beginning and will continue to serve as its manager even as she finishes her time on the Board of Directors.

In honor of her service with our organization, Judy received the Dee Dundon Service Award from none other than Dee Dundon herself, the first WHS president.

Thank you, Judy, for your selfless service and for your friendship.
