Virtual Fostering is a new volunteer opportunity at Watauga Humane Society sponsored by The Grey Muzzle Organization. This expansion of our current Foster Program focuses on giving senior dogs like Kavie one-on-one attention from a dedicated volunteer. Virtual Fosters bond with their foster companion at the adoption center, or through field trips out into the public. They help gather information on personality traits, likes/dislikes, and identify training areas in need. This gives our staff a better understanding of what each animal needs and help them find their forever home more quickly.
