Our 3 Longest Residents Find a Home

February 23rd, 2024

With 122 adoptions in February, we felt the need to brag about a few numbers. A total of 78 cats, 38 dogs and 6 critters found their very own home. And although these are amazing numbers, 354, 657, & 148 are also numbers worth sharing & celebrating!

Scooby spent a total of 354 days at the shelter, but not once did he let that bring him down. His adorable smile, sunny disposition and extreme gentleness has landed him the perfect couch. It was an honor helping him find the missing piece to his life’s puzzle. This boy can now go back to solving the true mysteries of “Who Let The Dogs Out”

654 is the number of nights our sweet Chiquitita spent in our care! This sweet and spicy gal is no stranger to internet stardom! Her story was featured in Southern LivingMagazine, The Miami Herald, The Charlotte Observer, and The News & Observer of Raleigh. We could not have done that without our online followers who shared her story.

After 148 sunrises perched on the top deck of her Cat Condo, Shadowheart has found herself a human to call her own! She came to us with a myriad of very manageable health issues which we were able to quickly resolve thanks to our medical team's attention to detail as well as your generosity. Without our sponsors and donors, we would not be able to provide such top-notch medical care for all who came through our doors.
