Looking for a purr-fect summer activity? Join us for Reading for Paws — where kids read their favorite stories to cats and kittens at Watauga Humane Society! 🐱📖

Studies show that reading aloud to shelter cats helps kids boost their reading skills — and our furry friends love the attention, too! It’s a win-win filled with purrs, giggles, and growing confidence.

🗓 Dates: Thursdays, June 12 – August 7, 2025
⏰ Time: 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
📍 Location: Watauga Humane Society

➡️ Who can join?
Rising 2nd through 6th graders. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)
Each child will have a 30-minute time slot.
