Shelter Update

June 8th, 2020

As North Carolina eases into Phase 2 of reopening, many of you are anxious to know when we will be opening our doors again. To help ensure the safety of our staff (the frontline caregivers of our animals), we have decided to continue to schedule fosters, adoptions, and owner surrenders by appointment only. This allows us to monitor the number of people in our building, and to provide proper sanitization in between visitors. We appreciate your patience with us as we adjust to this new, but temporary “normal”.

Spay/Neuter services are still limited to none and we are not accepting any new appointments. We will post an update on our website when this changes.

How you can help

Even though we can't see all of our amazing volunteers, supporters and friends, there are still ways you can help.

Foster! Fostering is a fun way and temporary way to help an animal in need! If you are interested in providing a loving foster for one of our cats or dogs, you can fill out our Foster Application

If you are specifically interested in fostering kittens or nursing cat moms in need, fill out our Kitten Foster form to learn more!

Donate! Caring for 2000 animals each year means we go through a lot of supplies. Help contribute to our primary needs for this month!
